MISSION STATEMENT
The driving passion of Eureka
is making science facts fun and accessible
through design, production, and marketing
of quality museum exhibitry. Our focus is
engaging the visitor with intuitively interactive
displays designed to make practical knowledge
of the physical and life sciences accessible
to all. This objective is accomplished through
creative application and adaptation of existing
cultural artifacts from various media. The
incorporation of widely recognized artifacts
allows us to create a nostalgic, impactful
connection with visitors while also reducing
the costs associated with exhibit design and
construction. This strategy also allows for
significant touchstones for the visitors -
often a connection to their lives or past,
and significantly broadens the appeal of the
exhibit beyond the specific learning elements.
Eureka’s use of innovative design elements
to encourage visitor interaction, and extensive
support for local educators to enhance the
learning opportunity for student groups are
hallmarks of our exhibits. We also provide
extensive support to our partner institutions
in securing local sponsorship for exhibit
fees and ongoing operations of the facility.
